A member from The Adventure-Europe forum made a little "translation" of the German trailer...

"Even they are not allowed to tell us too much about it, Max and Nina are talking about the work on their new adventure. Unfortunately Max hurt his leg during one stunt for the game (he is doing all the stunts himself now) in the Indonesian jungle. This is the reason why fans have to wait longer and the game will be published in early 2008. Max then is kidding about Nina, as her work in France seems to be not so hard and dangerous and he is afraid she might get fat. Nina replies, that she is not fat at all and that she actually is in the shape of her life. She even takes catwalk training now in order to improve her walk and movements, which we can see in a short demonstration. Max really likes what he sees and suggests, that he and Nina quickly go ........ back to work."

So Indonesia and France will be our heroes future destinations !!!! I can't wait, and you ?

EDIT: 2007-01-18

I exchange the German version of the trailer by the English one publish by Deep Silver a few days ago.

You have here some questions/answers on Secret Files II answered by Martin Mayer and/or Marco Zeugner, from FusionSphere, developers of this future game on an European forum.

Question: Are you planning to connect the two games and what the core of the story will be ? Will it again be about Tunguska and the mysteries behind that event ?

Answer by Martin: The story of "Secret Files 2" will not involve the Tunguska subject. It's a new story. But you will meet Nina and Max again and they will also be the playable main characters. We will again try to create a mystery atmosphere that mixes fact and fiction to give you a thrilling game experience.

Answer by Marco: The story of the next game has nothing to do with the Tunguska event. Nina and Max will undergo a completely new adventure. We are sorry, but we cannot go into too much detail, but be assured that the story will again involve much mystery, adventure and suspense.

Question: Will there be any engine improvements in the new game?

Answer by Martin: Of course we will implement new features into the engine. But we can't say specific things yet. But expect that existing features get better and some (interesting) new features will be added. We spend quite some time to get to the point where the engine is now (low system requirements, high performance, perfect 2D/3D combination, high visual quality). But I'm quite sure that you will like our improvements once you see them

Question: Will it also involve historical events? Will main heroes visit other countires?

Answer by Martin: Historical events... in some kind yes. And yes, the heroes will again visit many interesting places/countries.

Question: Do you plan to make the game a bit longer or at least a bit more challenging compared to the first one?

Answer by Martin: Playing duration is a complicated thing. It's hard to measure in advance and differs strongly from player to player. If you look at Tunguska in retrospect you will notice that there actually was a really *huge* amount of content (graphics, riddles/puzzles, animation). It's not an easy thing to create such qualitative content, but of course we aim to deliver more play time to the player. Regarding the difficulty of the riddles we aim for the same difficulty as in Tunguska. Maybe only a bit more difficult.

Question: It seems that it is becoming more and more popular with girls as the protagonist in adventure games. Why did you choose to have a girl as the "hero"?

Answer by Martin: Since in our office rooms there are mostly men we wanted to at least see a nice woman on the screen ;-)
